Notes: 1983 was the inaugural year. The course has been point-to-point for all years.  For 1983-1996 and 2011, the course was from Freeport to Port of Spain; the course was from Chaguanas to Port of Spain for 1997-2010.  The race was known as the Mirror Guiness Marathon for 1983-1988; the Sunshine Cornflakes Marathon for 1989-1995; and the Clico (also Clico Trindad & Tobago) Marathon for 1996-2010.  In 2013, Mary Akor (USA) was the first finisher in 2:49:14 but was later disqualified for failing a drug test.
